I came across a neat little toy, the other day as a clothing designer, a shopping search engine for the designer (and better), clothing and accessories. They do not actually sell anything - it's basically a way to find more things candy stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Bluefly, bridesmaid dresses without having to go to the website of each shop. The price points are all over the map, but ... as in the search results might even include something that can actually afford!
His latest toy is a search engine that is designed with the mother of the bride in mind. Shopping, when you're the mother of the bride is not easy, so the ability to see large clusters of the mother of the bride evening dress in one place is a blessing for poor mothers, overworked everywhere, as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps the mother can be treated with some fantasy or San Juan. Or maybe some Kara J Tadashi or, perhaps? The last two are good choices for the mafia I'd rather not get into debt.
Anyhool, when the nice people in designer clothes offered to help me make another gift, she said yes. In the latter contest, the prize is not a gift certificate, but a beautiful, feminine Nordstrom silk bow flap clutch. The light clutch can be a great gift for the mother of the bride gown or a bridesmaid, and can be carried under the arm of a delicate drop in chain strap. Not the kind of bag you'd take your life, but is perfect for the type of thin essentials you like to have with you when attending a wedding.
